No one was there for two weeks. Between two people we went by five separate times multiple calls. Finally got a call from Shelly, who immediately became agitated and defensive and claimed she was gone one day. Had time sensitive documents and still don’t have them because I don’t know when anyone’s going to be there and they never answer their phone. "

We were referred to Shelly by a professional in the office that was retiring. Last year when she filed our taxes I thought she was somewhat unresponsive, but likely very busy due to tax season. She did get the job done. This year has been worse. Unresponsive to emails and requests for phone calls. She put in for an extension for corporate taxes and we received notification of that day of, March 17. Zero communication since. Had to find somebody else on April 12. Not fun! "

We were referred here by a friend, who ensured us that they were the best and we’d have a great experience filling our taxes with them. They could never be more wrong. This was the worst experience we have ever had while filing our taxes. We understood that there would be some challenges with the Covid situation, but we never expected it to be so horrendous. We had a lot of information that we needed to go over with Kathy, but we never got the opportunity and this negatively effected our tax return. The entire time we felt like we were an annoyance to them. From the receptionist all the way to Kathy we did not feel welcomed at all. Our communication with Kathy was a little too nonexistent, and any that we did have was met with a condescending tone. I would say the best and friendliest email we received was the automatically generated email at the end asking for our payment. If you want to have your taxes filed by a company whose only intentions are to get your money then by all means use Gallatin Valley Tat services. However, if you’re looking for a pleasant experience this is not the company for you.
