Huichuan Wangs practice focuses on computational art, creative technology, generative AI, visual communication, and experimental digital media. She works with computational systems, generative AI models, and traditional mineral pigments, treating these materials and technologies as collaborators in an experimental creative process. Her work creates connections between geological materials and computational systems, exploring the relationship between traditional craft, natural materials, and synthetic or digital realities.

In addition to her individual artistic practice, Wang participates in research-driven projects, commissions, exhibitions, workshops, and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Her work has been presented internationally at venues including the V&A Museum in London and the CAFA Museum in Beijing, while her collaborative projects have received recognition from the Lumen Prize and Prix Ars Electronica.
