Michael is an outstanding high-end designer with great taste of his own, but who also listens to the client and tailors his choices to suit the client's personal aesthetic. He's easygoing and makes the design process fun. He has strong opinions and can back up his design concepts with logic and common sense, but he never tries to force choices onto the client. He's been overseeing all aspects of a major renovation of my condo. He's helped with everything from getting bids to choosing the contractor, and is basically operating as my owner's representative. In addition to coming up with an outstanding design, he's a great project manager, juggling all the necessary parts to keep them on schedule. He has access to a stable of high-quality vendors and custom furniture builders, who treat him and his clients well because he keeps bringing them business. He tracks costs all along the way so I know what I'm spending. He's fair and transparent in his billing, and I trust him implicitly. I've been through a number of renovations and building projects in my day, and never before has one gone this smoothly. "
