I'm Stephen Thorn, an AI consultant for small businesses, based in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and working with clients across the United States.
I teach first, find where the return actually is second, and implement only what earns it. The point is not to buy AI. It is to be confident about which parts of your business are worth automating, and to leave you with systems you own and can run.
What I do:
AI Workflow Assessment. A two-week engagement that maps how your team works and returns a ranked roadmap of what is worth automating.
AI Growth System. Missed calls get a text back, web forms get an acknowledgment, your team is notified, and every lead is logged in your CRM. Built for owner-led businesses that live on inbound, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing.
Team Training. From a half-day workshop to a multi-week program, remote or in person, scoped to your team and tools.
Advisory and Fractional AI Officer. Ongoing AI advisory with a named point of contact.
Custom AI Implementation. AI agents, n8n workflows, RAG systems and private AI on hardware you own, built in your own tools.
CEO Chief of Staff Install. Claude or ChatGPT set up as a chief of staff for the CEO, connected to email, calendar, meeting recorder, CRM and documents.
200+ people trained. OpenAI Select Partner. Former Marine Corps officer and Naval Academy graduate. Credentials from Anthropic, Google, IBM and the University of Pennsylvania.
