Just finished getting my laptop screen repaired after putting it off far too long & very glad to have made the decision to ask Tech Shack for help. Austin the technician is super friendly and communicative with their work, as well as very efficient while on a tight schedule. Never, EVER take your electronics to Tech Shack in Clemson! Total waste of time and money. These guys had my laptop for almost a MONTH (25 days!!!) just to make it worse than when I brought it in. I came in with just a partially broken display - left with the entire upper panel missing and they had the nerve to charge me $50 for ruining my laptop!What kind of "repair shop" breaks your stuff worse and then tells you to "find someone else" when you ask them to fix their own mess? Seriously?? These people have no clue what they're doing and zero customer service skills.Save yourself the headache and money - stay far away from this place. I wouldn't trust them to fix a calculator, let alone a laptop. There are plenty of other repair shops that won't destroy your electronics and actually stand behind their work. I had some issues with my M1 Macbook pro, the computer was not starting or charging. Austin and the team quickly helped me address the issue, replaced the battery for me and when this didnt resolve the issue I was not forced to pay full price for the battery! They then quickly found the core issue, and even though it was a logic board replacement which I chose to go through insurance to have repaired, they were very cooperative and assisted me in contacting the insurance company to confirm the issue at hand, which they did not have to go and do. Would absolutely recommend them if you want to save money and get a proper repair done. "
