The Pregnancy + app is designed to allow parents to track, follow, and understand every day of a pregnancy. The app offers a customized experience based on the user’s anticipated due date, updating daily with new information tailored to the user’s current stage of pregnancy.
The Pregnancy + app is full of useful content for expectant mothers. In the baby section of the app, users can see images of fetal development at different stages, access a pregnancy timeline, see images that correspond to the average size of the fetus as it develops, and even count the number of kicks their baby gives them.
Users can accomplish many tasks with the app, including managing doctor’s appointments, creating pregnancy-related to-do lists, and searching and saving potential baby names. Expectant mothers can track tons of information related to their pregnancies including weight, birth plan, and belly photos.
Navigation of the app is done through a simple icon navigation at the bottom of the screen, and through boxed options within categories. The homescreen of the app shows an image of what the fetus looks like at the stage of development the user is currently in, and visually demonstrates how far into the pregnancy they are. Links to explore content that changes as the pregnancy advances give users incentive to check back in with the app regularly.
