Monthly Competition Cycle

- Submit your project between the 1st and 25th of each month.
- Design Goes Live
- Your design goes live on DesignRush within 7 days, reviewed by our team.
- Internal Jury Evaluation
- Our in-house jury scores every published design out of 10. Score is displayed next to the live design.
- Finalists Shortlisted
- Designs scoring 7.5 or above are shortlisted, reaching our external judges for a final review.
- Winner Announcement
- Winners announced on the 10th. Monthly winners automatically enter Design of the Year contest.

Is there a fee to submit?
Submissions cost $250 per project or $95/month for our annual membership, which includes unlimited submissions at $25 per design.
Who judges the entries?
A panel of 3+ creative directors from top global brands & agencies scores each entry independently. Individual jury scores are published publicly, so you can see exactly how your work performed.
How are designs evaluated?
Each entry is scored across four criteria: design, usability, creativity, and content.
When are winners selected and announced?
Submissions close on the 25th of every month. Jury scoring takes place in the first week of the following month, and winners are announced publicly on the 10th.
What happens if I don't win?
Your jury scores are still published publicly, giving your work visibility and a credible benchmark you can share with clients or use in your portfolio.
How are winners promoted after the award?
Six winners receive a featured placement on the Best Designs homepage every month, a shareable winner badge, and social media, PR & newsletter promotion, including our newsletter of 16,000+ subscribers - worth over $3,000 in total.
Who can submit?
Anyone who created the work - agencies, in-house teams, and freelancers are all welcome. Agencies are responsible for confirming they have the client's permission before submitting.
