Shiuan-De (Sander) Chen is a product designer and founder with more than 10 years of experience in the Internet of Things, AI and commerce. As co-founder and chief product officer of Xtraspots, he grew a point-of-sale, payments and booking platform from zero to 300 merchants.
Chen is a named inventor on six U.S. patents that 77 later patents have cited. His work has won the Japan Good Design Award and MUSE and NYX gold awards, and he has judged the A’ Design Award, Online Design Awards, Orpetron and Top Design King.
Earlier, he designed an enterprise AI platform whose user activity rose 123%. He holds an executive MBA with honors from Aalto University.
