- Project Brief: Create a logo conveying playful identity through hand-drawn typography for strong recognition.
A restaurant logo earns its place when it carries something personal. Teté Bonici's identity for Caco starts there, building a visual language that feels less like a branding exercise and more like something sketched on a napkin by someone who actually loves the place.
The logo takes its shape from primate movement, each letter modeled after the loose, unguarded gestures of a monkey mid-thought. The forms are imperfect by design, mutable in a way that gives the mark a kind of restless energy. It looks like it could shift the moment you stop looking at it.
Monkey illustrations carry Chef Victor Senna's personal memories into the physical space, turning up on menus and coasters in scenes that are warm and quietly funny. The restaurant comes across as a place that cares deeply about the food and not at all about impressing you with the fact that it does.
Warm earthy tones run through the whole system, grounding the playfulness without dulling it. The typography stays clean and minimal, holding the identity together so the logo has room to be the strange, lively thing it is.
