  • Project Brief: Design premium collector packaging that celebrates Bratz's 25th anniversary while showcasing Rodarte's signature fashion aesthetic through a luxury unboxing experience.

Toy packaging works when the box treats the product as something to keep rather than tear open. The Bratz x Rodarte collector doll leans all the way into that, housing each figure in a coffin-shaped case built more like a display piece than a toy carton.

The stained-glass artwork frames each doll like a shrine. Cloe sits inside blues and greens rendering roses and gothic arches, while Sasha gets a moodier enchanted-forest scene with purple and teal glasswork, both playing off Rodarte's dreamy, handcrafted runway aesthetic.

The hexagonal silhouette breaks hard from the standard rectangular doll box. That elongated coffin shape signals collector status before anyone reads the label, matching the 25th anniversary positioning and the 14+ age marking.

The exterior lids carry line-drawn portraits in a single bold color, Cloe in cream on blue, Sasha in orange on violet, each paired with a smaller full-color figure at the base. That restraint on the outside makes opening the box feel like uncovering the detailed artwork within.
