  • Project Brief: Design limited-edition packaging for Gong Cha – Patronus Elderflower Powder Lime Teas, combining Wizarding World-inspired visuals, collectible elements, and immersive branding to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Beverage packaging earns its keep when it tells the story before the first sip, and Gong Cha's Harry Potter cups do exactly that. Each clear cup carries a glowing blue Patronus rising from a Hogwarts silhouette, so the drink itself becomes the backdrop for the artwork.

The finish sells the licensing. Gold "Harry Potter" lettering and a "25 Years of Magic" mark sit near the rim in the film's familiar type, giving a plastic cup the weight of an anniversary keepsake.

The sachet turns packaging into ritual. The elderflower foaming powder arrives in a dark, wand-styled stick that customers tear open and pour over the drink themselves, so the unboxing becomes part of the "cast a spell" theme rather than a step hidden in the back.

The color-blocked base ties the range together. A red, green, and gold band wraps the bottom of every cup, nodding to the Hogwarts houses without picking one, so the same structural design carries across the whole lineup.
