- Project Brief: Create limited-edition packaging for Liquid Death's sCream Soda wipes using bold, irreverent branding and soda-inspired humor to make the hygiene product memorable.
Custom packaging works best when it catches you off guard. Liquid Death and Goodwipes do that here, dressing up a pack of flushable wipes as a creepy soda so your eye lands on it a beat before you clock what you're looking at.
Liquid Death-Goodwipes sCream Soda's label plays the soda bit straight. Gothic lettering, a deep red panel, and a flaming skull drag Liquid Death's canned-drink look onto a wipes pack, and "sCREAM SODA, vanilla scented" delivers the joke without nudging you in the ribs.
What sells it is how quiet the rest of the pack stays. The cream background and the little repeating skulls make it read like something you'd pass on a real store shelf, so the laugh comes from the setup, not the design yelling at you.
It holds up across the whole range too, from the big 150-count box down to the 50-count tub and the 18-count travel pack. They all wear the same skull crest and that "Death to Dry" attitude, which turns a one-time gag into a set fans will want to collect.
