- Project Brief: Create a fashion video for Prada Holiday 2026 that combines live-action performances with whimsical hand-drawn animation, transforming winter scenes into an imaginative visual world that highlights the campaign’s human-centered storytelling.
A fashion film gets a storybook glow when real people share the frame with hand-drawn characters.
Prada’s Holiday 2026 campaign, Drawing Prada: Animated by Hand, places ambassadors Chen Haoyu, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Luther Ford inside whimsical winter scenes drawn by hand.
Glen Luchford films the cast in live action, while John Pomeroy’s animation team paints the rooms, forests, and creatures around them. In one scene, a woman in a lilac knit kneels by a glowing fireplace as three cartoon mice hoist a dalmatian-spotted loafer toward her, a playful nod to a fairy-tale glass slipper.
The animated helpers carry the products, so each piece becomes part of the story. Mice lounge on a white Prada Milano bag and stretch out across a spotted pony-hair shoe, and a sly cartoon fox meets a woman in a leopard-print hat on a snowy trail.
Creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons keep the palette soft and wintry, with dusky blues, warm firelight, and snow-white drifts. Gentle, repeating audio cues set a hypnotic rhythm, so the spot plays more like a short art film than a standard holiday ad.
