- Project Brief: Create a portfolio website that showcases Liya Kedar's creative identity while highlighting her multidisciplinary design practice through an engaging digital experience.
A portfolio site needs to prove the designer's eye in the first scroll. Liya Kedar's does that instantly. The site treats its own interface as the work, building a personal brand around typography, color, and texture rather than a list of credentials.
The creative bet is interactivity. The same four-project grid, Fetch, Here's How It Happened, Kisses From the Future, and Hibi, redraws itself in three modes: full photography, flat color blocks with simple shapes, and bare line-art outlines, so the layout itself becomes the demo reel.
Navigation stays minimal under that play. A single bold statement of identity, a clean four-column grid, and one "About" link keep the structure easy to scan, letting the visuals carry the story.
Performance and clarity round it out. The stripped-back content and strong type hierarchy keep load times fast and the layout responsive, which matters on a portfolio. For a visual designer, a site that performs its own range is the strongest credential going.
