Twofold

Twofold is a design studio based in Australia. They help clients across the world achieve success through high-quality, innovative, and creative design work.

When it comes to minimalism, this agency is must-see for every designer. They website is great example of minimal and clean design and they feature their work with stunning photography. In fact, the photography they have on their website is so great that don't even seemed to be compressed for the web. It's so sharp -- even on widescreens and mobile devices -- that it makes a great impression on every visitor.

Their website uses plenty of negative space, which keeps the site clean and organized. The homepage is a deep-scroll page with a grid structure that showcases their blog articles and portfolio (all in one full-width grid). On the header, they feature they most important project with a full-width approach using a small (but great) zoom effect on the photo with several layers to give a sensation of depth (this type of effect has become trendy over the past few years).

To achieve the full effect, the site utilizes the stunning photography and the header as the entire full screen so the user only sees the rest of the page when they start scrolling down.

Their project detail page is a quite impressive (and yet simple) presentation of the project. The page starts like the homepage, using a fullscreen background photo of their client with name and small description of what they do. It's amazing how simple it is and makes users feel curious because there is so little information and such a great use of photograph.

They use small copy at the top of the project description and center all the attention on the design mockups for the project in a very long scroll page. At the bottom of the page, there are simple social share icons and the 'next' and 'previous' projects of their portfolio. 

The 'about us' page is a very simple presentation of their studio, and follows the elegant and minimal flat design of the pages accross the site. Towards the bottom of the page, they show a grid with all their services and there, users can see a great use of outlined icons for every single service they do. This is a very nice and simple page with an effective structure.
