Worked with Scott on a local motorcycle shops website. He completely rebuilt the site for us improving speed, look and feel. He stayed on top of any changes or adjustments we needed directly after the rebuild. I"m looking forward to continuing business with him. If you're looking for professional work at an affordable price Scott is your guy.

Scott Botkins was referred to me by Anne Shannon of Anne Shannon Graphic Design, whose website was developed by Scott. At the time, I was with a web design firm that was extremely unreliable with both the work they performed, as well as with their follow up. More often than not, phone calls and emails went unreturned and when requests for changes and revisions were finally performed, they were often incomplete or incorrect. I was in desperate need of a reliable company that I could count on to manage and maintain my website. When I first spoke with Scott Botkins he was extremely generous with his time, as well as patient with my litany of questions. Immediately after speaking with him, I decided to take a chance and make Scott Botkins my new web designer. I have to say, after about 1.5 years in business, this is probably one of the best decisions I’ve made for my company. There are just I few criteria I expect from people and companies I choose to do business with—I look for those who are honest, have strong work ethics and are accountable—which means they do what they say they are going to do. In the short time I’ve worked with Scott, he has proven himself to be all of these things and more. He always meets his promised deadlines; he always returns calls and emails; and best of all, when he gives me a quote for how much something will cost, he always meets that figure or comes in under budget. There are never any surprises when working with Scott and the final product of his efforts is absolutely top notch.I now have a much better and more-effective website that I spend very little time working on/worrying about. Scott has proven to be a wonderful and invaluable resource for my company and I would have no reservations recommending them to anybody needing a website developed and/or managed for their company or organization.

Digital Marketing Review from Rita Dragonette
I've had the pleasure of working with Motion as both colleague and client. As a colleague I was referred to them for a number of my CEO clients. The high-level coverage they were able to secure was very instrumental in significantly raising the profile of those clients and helping them attract the opportunities they were after. As a client, Motion was able to quickly and innovatively operationalize a successful social giving program to fund a scholarship I started as part of the launch for my new novel. The response was terrific for book awareness and quickly became fully funded. The agency is highly responsive, the staff skilled and engaging. Terrific client service.

Branding agencies in Cincinnati follow the same pricing structures used by firms across the United States. Your final investment depends on scope, complexity, and the level of strategic support required. These ranges reflect current US market averages and provide a realistic benchmark when planning your budget.
Common branding project cost ranges by scope:
Logo design: $2,000 – $10,000
Visual identity system: $5,000 – $25,000
Brand messaging and voice: $3,000 – $15,000
Market research: $8,000 – $30,000
Brand strategy development: $7,500 – $40,000
Brand guidelines: $5,000 – $25,000
Website design as part of branding: $10,000 – $150,000
Full branding or rebranding programs: $20,000 – $100,000+
Many Cincinnati businesses allocate 5% – 10% of projected revenue to branding and reserve an additional 10% – 15% contingency budget for revisions, rollout, and unforeseen costs.
What are the average project timelines for branding projects?
Most professional branding engagements take 8 weeks to 6 months, while complex rebrands can extend to 12 months or more.
Branding projects in Cincinnati follow the same structured timelines used by agencies across the United States. The total duration depends on scope, feedback speed, and whether the project includes strategy, identity, and website development.
Typical branding timeline by phase:
Discovery and research: 1 to 2 weeks
Brand strategy development: 2 to 3 weeks
Visual identity design: 4 to 6 weeks
Brand guidelines and marketing assets: 2 to 6 weeks
Website design and development (if included): 2 to 8 weeks
Brand launch and rollout: 1 week or more
Overall branding project timelines by business type:
Startup or small business branding: 8 to 12 weeks
Full brand identity with strategy and website: 3 to 6 months
Large or enterprise rebranding: 6 to 12 months
Several factors influence the timeline, including the number of stakeholders involved, revision cycles, research depth, and the volume of deliverables. Faster internal feedback and clear decision-making significantly reduce delays for Cincinnati branding agencies.
What services are typically included in a branding project?
Branding projects typically include strategy, messaging, and visual identity to ensure your brand is consistent and recognizable across all channels. The exact services depend on your goals and budget, but most agencies include the following:
Brand strategy: Positioning, mission, vision, values, and target audience definition
Logo design: Primary logo, alternate versions, and usage variations
Visual identity system: Color palette, typography, iconography, and imagery style
Brand messaging: Tagline, brand voice, tone, and key messaging framework
Brand guidelines: A document explaining how to use your brand consistently
Marketing collateral: Business cards, presentations, social media templates, and basic assets
Some branding projects also include website design, packaging, or launch support if required.
How can I verify a Cincinnati branding agency's reputation?
To check if a branding agency in Cincinnati is reputable, use these simple local checks:

Check local rankings: The Cincinnati Business Courier lists the largest agencies. Bigger, growing agencies usually have more experience and resources.
