Really great company, Still not sure if we're going to hire or attempt to do the work ourselves. If we do decide they are without a doubt the company to go with. Nat is really great, Not sure how much he sleeps, as his response time is second to none. Every time I would message him we would get a response back seemed like immediately, and actually get things done, even at 5:30am which is 4:30 am their time. I can't recall every experiencing service like that. They actually got my website back online after I made errors in the hosting, Didn't charge us a penny.actually feeling guilty about it, as I should.

My experience in a way is hard to explain because the community of artists I've met: writers, photographers, graphic designers, and point personnel who lead team instructions during morning meetings, are each invaluable human beings dedicated to their entire craft in full. Element Three is in an office space appearing perfectly set along the Monon Blvd. For an afternoon walk after lunch, for a quick trip to a mini shop or store, for a break spot unknown to others where everything from an important phone call or time to relax from actual work, is all plausible. I received a chance to shadow the facility and meet the team. From first light, I stepped into an atmosphere with paintings across the wall and a bevy of modern office cubicle spaces positioned toward the middle. The waiting area toward the front, adjacent to the kitchen upon entering through the double doors is made for the kid accompanying Mom or Dad on "Bring Your Kid to Work Day." If of age, their access to coffee is a given. The chic furniture, high chairs, warm colors, rustic wooden table sets, and the large, glass window meeting room of course, all provide extensive opportunities for collaborative work and uplifting conversations of continuance. I felt I wasn't at work with anyone. I was in a place I'd joined with other commandeering souls who're living out their purpose providing a voice to the ethos of an outside world. Work gets done before anything else because this place isn't where employees come to give rise to corporate exploitation and false messaging, it's a place where artists gather together to shape the future of our collective voices, on the best individual scale he, she, or they can achieve on. This visit is one I'll forget never and the work they provide to their clients are a pathway for other companies, firms, and agencies to follow. Just check out any of their Instagrams, no frowns found in anyone's personal brand. Maybe, they are just all happy doing what they love and it rubbed off on me to be okay with being a writer whose voice is needed somewhere in the world, beyond where even I can see.

I've enjoyed working with Artisan both on internal projects and being placed with clients through them. While they don't see the same number of roles as some of the bigger companies, they do tend to get jobs with higher pay rates than some of the other staffing agencies - and definitely advocate for the talent when it comes to dealing with clients. If you are the type of person to question and challenge your partners, Deksia is not a good fit for you. I identified a weakness in Deksia's business which they thought was strong and I was treated like I was crazy. I did recieve an apology for my mistreatment of and the gross mismanagement of my account. The fact remains that I was upsold on digital marketing while Deksia had no competent staff to manage my search engine marketing (SEM). In the 6 months we worked together they neglected to verify my google account, they neglected to connect my google tag (so there was no way to optimize) and they reported bad data to make themselves look good. For the entire time I was paying them (and google!) they had my brand name in every search term. This went on for over 6 months! Why didn't I catch it sooner? Because I had a baby. I had trusted them to take care of SEM so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Once I was out of my postpartum haze and I was able to look under the hood. I found that over 85% of their reported sales were attributed to my hard earned organic reach. And yet they would self congratulate themselves and ask me to raise my SEM budget. When I revealed this to them they tried every gaslighting technique in the book. They took advantage of my trust in them. Their marketing VP even asked why they should spend time doing a postmortem of their mistakes when they could be spending time "making me more money". How can you move on and improve if you never examine your mistakes? Even getting them to admit they made all these errors took me hiring a 3rd party to generate reports and attribution models so we could uncover the truth of Deksia's performance or in this case lack thereof. There was no effort to make things better even after I had spent 6 figures with them on various projects. Instead I was billed for another 2 months after ending the relationship because it was in our contract. If you are signing a contract with them- take that part OUT! I had to pay them for doing nothing while I was paying someone else to fix the mess they made.Adam Bird is the glue holding this house of cards together and the only reason I do not completely regret working with Deksia. I came to them to elevate my brand, Swaddelini. Adam did a phenomenal job unveiling the DNA of the brand and giving me a deeper understanding of my customer. Shelly is also very talented. She took the direction from Adam to create brand messaging and imagery that did exactly what I wanted it to do. Deksia has strong creative talent that can deliver a good product; unfortunately, they lack the technical expertise to bring it home and they lack the leadership to build long lasting customer relationships.
