ComDoc Reviews

I cannot express how frustrated I have been with customer service on our Xerox copier and Comdoc, Inc (and the frustrating process of even getting someone to respond to my calls). As most businesses, processes that were once done by a technician are now expected to be done by the customer. If the customer has trouble, getting someone to help is impossible! Deal with ComDoc has been a frustrating experience due to thier poor customer and technical support. Getting assistance is a challenge, with long wait times and unhelpful responses that fail to resolve issues efficiently. Their technical support lacks expertise, often leaving problems unresolved or requiring multiple follow-ups. Their contracts are riddled with price-escalating auto-renew clauses, making it difficult to escape increasing costs without significant hassle. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM COMDOC!!! Negative 1 star!! They delivered our new multi-function copier and said we had to call tech support to set it up over the phone. It has been 18 months and I still can't print without going into the settings on the actual copier machine itself and changing the tray. More than half the time I have to delete the job due to job errors. When I call Xerox for support they tell me the drivers may be the problem and I need to hire an I.T. person even though we have a maintenance contract with ComDoc.Also, look out for the fine print in your maintenance agreement under supplies. They authorize themselves to charge a monthly freight fee of $5.95 even when you have not placed an order. We have only ordered toner once, yet we are stuck paying $5.95 every month. Never again will we order anything from ComDoc or ever recommend them to anyone. "Jenny August's Review Sourced from Google
First off my Service Techs are AWESOME!The people/automated answer service/website are the worst! I’m a print for profit and suppose to get priority service.Service needed… website won’t let you log in. Called… an hour later, no response. Called… Call is still being processed. They can’t do anything. Waited two hours without a response… Service Tech had to call them to get it processed!!!Terrible way to handle Service to a long time customer. First, let me say this is the first bad review I can remember ever posting about a company. I hate to do it, because it affects peoples lives and usually bad reviews are written without looking at the big picture. Through my business, I work with a lot of different vendors and I have more headaches with ComDoc then all of them combined. I have had an ongoing problem where one of my machines continues to fail. It has cost me business. I asked for a meeting to get out of my contract, because it keeps happening and I keep getting the same song and dance. I met with one of the managers 3 weeks ago and he assured me he would come up with a solution. I continue to have problems, have emailed my acct rep and while she responds, I have received no answers on a solution from the mgr. Would think we would get a replacement or an extra one to keep on hand. In a busy business, if your printer goes down and you don't get support, it's a huge problem. There are a lot of copy companies out there to do business with, but if you are a business owner, I would stay away from Comdoc. It's not worth the aggravation, because you can't trust your business is important to them.. "Matt Greenberg's Review Sourced from Google
