When I ventured into the unknown realm of business ownership, one thing I did know was that I would eventually need a website. With this in mind, I went ahead and reserved my domain name...but, for various reasons, there always seemed to be other things that demanded my time, and the website never became a priority. As a new small business owner, I couldn’t afford to have a professional website created for me...yet, I couldn’t afford the time required to learn to create an amateur site for myself.I learned of Copperwing’s “Giving Wings” program by chance...or maybe even divine intervention. Knowing there would be hundreds, if not thousands of participants, I quietly submitted my entry and went on about my business. To say that I was shocked when I found out that I was chosen as a recipient of the “Giving Wings” program, would be a huge understatement. For me, it was an answered prayer to a long-term need.From our very first communication, Angela, Brian and every other Copperwing team member I had interaction with, treated me with professionalism and respect. They took the time to get to know me, to learn what my unique attributes are; and not only what my business is about, but also how my personality affects my business and makes it stand out from the others like it...and then they masterfully presented everything they learned in the creative design of my website.This is not a cookie-cutter website...it’s wonderfully unique...just like I am. The inclusion of the video footage was an unexpected but wonderful touch...Chris has a brilliant and creative aesthetic! When I began this journey with Copperwing, I imagined what I hoped the website would end up being.
