Who We Are
Denovo Studios is a legacy software modernization and software development company based out of Chicago and metro Detroit, founded by a manufacturing engineer with a background in process optimization and continuous improvement. We partner with manufacturers and operationally complex organizations across the U.S. to modernize outdated systems and build new software, not by leading with technology, but by leading with process.

Who We Work With
We work exclusively with manufacturers and operationally complex organizations because that's the environment we know best. Many of these organizations are running on outdated software that's harder to maintain, harder to secure, and holding back everything they might want to do next. Our focus is on companies where flow, information, and process discipline directly impact performance, and where modernizing the right system can eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual work, and support better decision-making at every level of the operation.

How We Do It
Our approach starts with the process, not the technology. Rooted in a manufacturing engineering mindset, we believe that software problems are rarely about effort, they're about systems. When we engage with a client, we begin by understanding how work is actually done: where flow breaks down, where information gets delayed, and where an outdated system is creating friction instead of removing it.

From there, we modernize what's outdated and build new software for what's missing, aligning people, process, and technology in a way that's practical and sustainable. We're less interested in building features for the sake of technology and more focused on engineering systems that reduce waste and deliver real, measurable improvement.
