Generikal was established in Truckee, California by Chris Bartkowski. A former professional snowboarder and veteran of the snowsports and hospitality industries, Chris video, photo, drone and design talents were quickly recognized and demanded by clients throughout the Tahoe region.

The demand became so great that in 2015, he left his job to work on Generikal full time. The team and projects have grown since then, but Chris founding ethics of original thought, disciplined work ethic, and total commitment to client success continue to guide the company.

Since its inception, Generikal has grown beyond the snowsports industry to produce custom media for luxury hotels, restaurants, hospitals, non-profits, tourism boards, and real estate firms. By requirement, Generikal creatives are just as comfortable in the front seat of a helicopter as they are in a corporate boardroom. Currently based in Lake Tahoe, Truckee CA and Reno, NV but always happy to travel.
