Hank Willis Thomas is a Brooklyn-based conceptual artist whose practice investigates themes of perspective, identity, commodity, media influence, and popular culture. Since emerging as a prominent voice in contemporary art, his work has been exhibited internationally at major institutions including the International Center of Photography, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Musée du quai Branly, Hong Kong Arts Centre, and Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art.
