I paid over $5,000 over a year for website development and SEO services that promised to improve my Google visibility and convert viewers to clients. The website they delivered had broken contact forms and call buttons, and multiple independent marketing specialists told me it was subpar and not up to industry standards. Despite SEO being explicitly mentioned in our contract and the majority of what I paid was for SEO, they later claimed it wasn't included. Issues I reported took months to fix or were never resolved, including random text that remained on the site for over 6 months. When I called to discuss these problems, they became defensive and dismissed my concerns, and told me I was never paying for SEO (it was stated 4-5 times in the contract that I was getting an SEO package). I sent a formal refund request with detailed documentation of all issues - they completely ignored it. After a significant investment and a full year, I have no website.
