Working as an independent contractor has provided me with the opportunity to work from home and set my own work hours. The only equipment needed are a computer with internet access, headset, and foot pedal. Access to appropriate audio programs is provided by JPS. The pay rate is comparable and competitive with other transcription services. Your income depends on the amount of work you produce based on the workload that is at your own request. Since Tracie Ellis Wood became the transcription division manager she has not only improved the efficiency and increased workload and production, but has also provided continuous communication improvements. Tracie performs her job in a very professional manner, while still being caring and approachable. She is accessible by text, email, or phone call, often seven days per week. Any questions have always been addressed quickly and completely. Working with Jamison Professional Services and Tracie has been a very rewarding experience. Let me start by saying I have been in the work force for many years at various businesses none if which can compare to my experience at Jamison Professional Services! I absolutely loved working for them! Very professional but on a personal level if that makes sense. I was never made to feel as if I was low man (woman) everyone was on the same level from management, HR to supervisors.
