JetHead Development was formed in 2003, specifically to develop the CDI device drivers for DirecTV's new middleware in development. This STB middleware was successfully launched by DIRECTV in 2005. Since that time JetHead has expanded its work to include System Architecture, Middleware development, Middleware Porting, development of Drivers for semiconductor vendors, multiple test suites, and overall system debugging.
