I had a brief phone interview, then rec'd an email indicating they would like me to fill out the attached forms, return them and I will be contacted for an interview. I received a email letter indicating the day and time of interview.I sent in all requested documents. The work authorization information wasn't approved. I called the Recruiter; I needed a second form of work authorization. The process took a couple of emails, but I didn't experience any lengthy time frame. It was getting closer to the interview day.Contract recruiters are very busy and they were working on several contracts for the local universities, Follet bookstores. At the interview there were 15 people there (it was how the university choose to interview).NXTThing also handled the payroll and payment. That went very smoothly, I set-up direct deposit.After the contract project ended, NXTThing sent me a Thank You letter and will keep my information on file for other projects.This is all excellent customer service. "

Then I've email says a document for taxes wasn't accepted and they needed another. Uhm ok .. Last minute but here's 8 different documents to cover all those issues.I never heard back that night.Next morning I got an email THIRTY MINUTES AFTER I WAS SCHEDULED TO START MY FIRST SHIFT saying the documents went through. That's it. Nothing about scheduling or even a closing to the email. I responded asking if I could go to the store then or if they'd put me to start the following day...Nothing.2 hours.3 hoursI called the manager at the store to ask. Uhhhhhmmmm... I'll call the agency and see what's up, he says.Nothing EVER back from him. EVER.I emailed the agency repeatedly asking for any response to what was going on.I got one. Single. Response.Today was the only possible start date.Hours of interviews and onboarding and paperwork. Then, after preparing to start a new job I never even got to click in.
