Zeevaarder

Zeevaarder is a visual art studio based in Brussels. The name is taken from the Flemish word Zeevaarder, meaning someone who sails the sea. With a style that's all about exploring the balance between surrealism, absurdity, and reality, with a soft spot for flowers, colors, and faded textures. The portraits are illustrative in a way that translates emotions and feelings into a positive and even optimistic work of art. Zeevaarder does that by combining analog and digital techniques; working with pastels, airbrush and paint then scanning it and reworking it in a digital format.
