- Project Brief: Design a personal finance app that simplifies budgeting for users with varied income patterns through intuitive account management, receipt scanning, savings goals, and friendly visual guidance.
A finance app can win over younger users when it trades cluttered dashboards for clear, guided tools. Deep Digital Co designed Budgetly, a 2026 personal finance app concept for 20- to 30-year-olds with steady or irregular income.
The project covers a full UX process from research to high-fidelity screens, with a 3D orange mascot named Budgeck as the guide.
Onboarding moves through email OTP or Google and Apple login, currency choice, a PIN, and Face ID or Touch ID, with Budgeck holding coins or a shield on each step. Users can link banks like monobank and PrivatBank or add manual debit, credit, savings, cash, debt, and investment accounts, each tagged with its own color swatch.
The home screen sits on a warm off-white base with a peach-to-white header gradient, stacking total balance, rounded account cards, and black Spend, Inflow, and Transfer pills. Dashed-border insight cards flag habits, like spending 20% over a planned limit on games, and savings goals that hit 100% switch to a green gradient with a transfer button.
Transaction entry opens as a dark sheet with category, repeat, notes, and live exchange rate fields, plus receipt scanning that fills in the total and line items from a photo. A statistics tab charts spending in a red area graph, inflow in green, and the top 10 categories in a multicolor bar chart, so you can spot where money goes at a glance.
