- Project Brief: Design a mobile app that enhances everyday learning with intuitive navigation and quick content formats.
An education app justifies its place on the home screen by making learning look like something other than work. Gaddafi Rusli designed Lumnea around that constraint, breaking complex topics into flashcards and short audio sessions sized for the gaps in an actual day.
The user interface stays clean without going clinical. The typography runs in a rounded sans-serif that reads quickly without demanding effort, paired with soft cream, deep charcoal and vibrant violet — a palette that keeps the screen alive without turning every session into a sensory event.
AI-generated summaries become Q&A decks and short podcast-style sessions, the kind of material a person can work through on a commute or in the ten minutes before a call starts. The layout makes swiping through a deck or queuing up an audio session read as a reflex rather than a decision.
Lumnea sits in the space between casual curiosity and structured learning without demanding that the user pick a side. The design is polished enough to carry credibility and light enough that opening it doesn't require the mental commitment of sitting down to study.
