  • Project Brief: Create an entertainment video for Firefox that reconnects audiences with a more user-focused internet through nostalgic viral personalities, fast-paced editing, and messaging around privacy and user choice.

Entertainment can give a tech commercial its hook when the cast comes straight from the internet’s early viral hits. Firefox, Mozilla’s web browser, worked with We Believers on Come Back to Firefox, an ad that borrows from meme culture to pitch a more private way to browse.

The creators behind Chocolate Rain, Numa Numa, Chuck Testa, Overly Attached Girlfriend, and Annoying Orange each return in a shot that mirrors their original video. A simple white condensed caption in the lower corner names each one, so the nostalgia hits even for viewers who forgot the titles.

Those legends then sound off about today’s web, with its aggressive tracking, constant ads, and AI features nobody asked for. Quick, rhythmic cuts keep the jokes moving until the film settles on Firefox’s promise of privacy and optional AI tools.

The finale pulls the whole cast into a studio of rebuilt sets, where they jump under a storm of pink and gold confetti. Giant white block letters spelling Come Back To roll in beside the orange and purple Firefox logo, leaving one clear line on screen: the internet you loved is still here.
