- Project Brief: Create an animated video that introduces IKEA’s KALLAX storage solution through Skyrim-inspired storytelling, playful satire, and fantasy-themed product integration.
Animation video that drops a real product into a game world works only if the tone match holds. Mother slots IKEA's KALLAX shelf into Skyrim with "KALLAX Storageborn", staging the flat-pack unit as an epic fantasy artifact that solves the game's inventory clutter.
The tonal collision is the joke. A somber lore-style narration and a shaft-of-light mountain reveal frame a plain white bookshelf like a legendary relic, so retail speak lands inside high-fantasy drama.
The in-world staging sells it. The KALLAX renders convincingly beside the horned Dovahkiin on a village path and atop a peak with a dragon overhead, matching Skyrim's lighting and grain closely enough to pass as real gameplay.
The Elder Scrolls styling ties it together. Carved serif titles, the knotwork banner, and lines like "your inventory woes end here" mimic Bethesda's marketing, so the parody reads as a genuine Creations drop rather than an outside ad.
