COVID-19 has changed the lives of billions of people. One of those affected by the pandemic was the people living in Berlin, Germany.

LightsOut, Berlin!'s trailer is a testament to the shift in everyone’s lifestyles, focusing primarily on those in the music business who suddenly had no work. The video design by NewBorn Short Film Agency gives a fantastic sneak peek into the whole story, enticing viewers to watch the entire documentary.

The video design stitches together a series of interviews with some of the great names in the music industry, all talking about how life changed during the pandemic. Complementing these interviews are beautiful establishing shots of empty recording studios, music clubs, concert venues, etc., strengthening the narrative of the drastic effect of COVID-19 on the industry.

Wrapping all these elements together is a short timelapse overlooking Berlin and heavy techno tunes in the background, matching the tense atmosphere.
