  • Project Brief: Create a global campaign that celebrates football traditions by showing how shared meals and matchday rituals strengthen family bonds across generations.

A short film for a pizza brand works when the food is part of a story you actually feel. Pizza Hut's "Every Four Years," made by New Brand Film, gets there by following a father and son through decades of football tournaments, with shared meals marking the years.

The story holds together through time. It moves from a young dad to an older one to a grown son, so the pizza box handed between them feels like a family ritual, not a product drop.

The tone is warm and a little wistful. Golden light, soft contrast, and close-ups of faces and hands make it play like an old memory instead of a sports ad.

The slow pace is what sells it. The cuts sit long enough to let each moment breathe, drifting between the stadium and the living room so the brand stays in the background of the tradition. For Pizza Hut, being the thing that's always there beats any hard sell.
