A short film for a deodorant brand has no business being this tense, but Rexona's "It Won't Let You Down" earns the drama. Contrario builds a 90-second World Cup film around fan suspense, cutting between players on the pitch and supporters living and dying with every moment in the stands.

The creative bet is the soundtrack. Setting the tension to The Beatles' "Don't Let Me Down" ties personal emotion to the brand promise, turning a deodorant line into a nostalgic, universal hook. The song does as much narrative work as any shot.

Motion and editing chase the adrenaline of the game. Quick cuts swing between pre-match nerves, last-minute winners, and post-match celebration, mirroring the emotional whiplash that runs through both players and fans.

The execution stays short, polished, and built to travel. Clear branding and hashtags like #FIFAWorldCup2026 and #WeAre26 make it easy to share, and the film sells confidence, loyalty, and shared fan identity rather than the product itself. That is why viewers call it one of the better ads in a long time.
