  • Project Brief: Create a cinematic commercial that integrates Samsung's foldable technology into the Spider-Man universe through immersive storytelling, futuristic visuals, and seamless product placement.

A commercial tied to a movie usually just borrows the star and hopes some shine rubs off. Samsung's "A Brand New Shape for a Brand New Day" does more, writing the phone into Spider-Man's world as gear he actually needs after a rough night on patrol.

Casting sharpens the crossover. Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned in the films, has traded his role as Spider-Man's sidekick for a permanent seat on Samsung's roster, so the tie-in carries a real face from the franchise rather than a borrowed logo.

The story earns the product placement. An AI assistant scans Peter Parker's battle-worn device, flags the damage, and fabricates a new foldable on the spot, so the phone arrives as a tactical upgrade rather than an ad break.

The look borrows the franchise's cinematic polish. Cool industrial tones, neon-blue interface accents, and schematic readouts sell the fabrication sequence, staged in an apartment dressed with real MCU production-design detail.

The edit keeps a movie's rhythm. Cuts sync to a pulsing electronic score through the build, and blending Samsung branding into established Spider-Man lore makes the tie-in feel like a scene rather than a spot.
