  • Project Brief: Create a fashion and beauty video that introduces TOMMY HILFIGER Freedom Eau de Parfum through expressive performance, music, and themes of personal freedom.

Fashion and beauty video for a fragrance launch has to make a scent feel like a mood. Gordon von Steiner builds the Tommy Hilfiger Freedom campaign around Camila Cabello and a reworked "I Want to Break Free," tying the perfume to a feeling of release.

The music sets the whole tone. Cabello's soulful take on the Queen anthem plays under every cut, so the scent reads through liberation and movement rather than a product pitch.

The natural light does the visual work. Sun-flared fields, golden backlight, and loose handheld framing give the film an easy, unposed warmth that matches the clean amber profile.

The performance carries the brand. Cabello rolling in the grass and spinning arms-wide in a red dress links her spirited energy to the Hilfiger name, so the fragrance lands as personal expression.

The product beat stays brief. A single close shot of the ribbed gold bottle with its red-and-white band slots in without breaking the mood, letting the campaign feel like a music film that happens to sell perfume.
