As the poet Byron would say, Bersus Design is a child of passion. Den Sabrov, working in the international trade and logistics sector during the day, decided to follow his aspirations — helping startups and promising projects with masterfully crafted UI/UX design.

Bersus is a perfect example of his design philosophy: shunning the conventional, over-complicated development process in favor of minimal(istic) efforts that are truly sight to be seen, especially on mobile devices.

Combining simplistic and harmonious aesthetics with raw energy is evident right from the get-go, as his artist persona represents a creative union of Apollo (Greek/Roman god of light and poetry) and Negan, an anti-hero character from The Walking Dead TV series.

Although predominantly black-and-white, the website is fairly simplistic it is emphatically dynamic, with ample motion effects and SVG animations, followed by interactive flipboxes that reveal a full range of their creator’s portfolio.

The atypical, minimalist design monochromatic scheme, along with the abundant negative space between different elements, complements the few colorful images sporadically used as users scroll down.

What makes this website stand out the most is the “About Me” page that sports an interactive dial of “My Strongest Skills.” The whole page screams information architectural brilliance and user engagement wrapped together into one neat package.
