My experience with the firm was not good to say the least. I needed help filing fairly basic individual tax returns. I mainly needed help filing my crypto assets and they assured me they were experts. I gave them all of the information needed.They couldn’t find the initial buy price (they don’t know how blockchain works you can trace all transactions if you have the wallet addresses which I gave them) and so I was going to have to pay a ton of cap gains. Long story short I had to pay for my own crypto accounting software and figure it out myself. If I didn’t do this I would have had to pay an extra $10k in cap gains that they told me I was due bc they couldn’t find my initial buy price (they don’t have/know how to use basic crypto accounting software like CoinLedger)The next year I used them again. The services they had to help with were the exact same as the year before, but they charged me DOUBLE the fees from the previous year without any heads up.

My mother turned her taxes in last march 2024. It is now 7/8/24 taxes still aren’t done. Extensions filed. My mother and I have called about 10 times now and she still hasn’t had her taxes filed. They never call back. EVER. She calls and they say they oh they’re in review. This has happened over and over and they will over again. My mother is 78 years old and hasn’t ever had to file an extension. They have ALL her tax info so she can’t file them herself. Called again today and oh they’re working on them now.Do NOT use this agency. Very frustrating that they treat a 78 year old woman this way.

It used to be be people stood up for what they promissed, But that has changed, I have been a client since my old Cpa retired a few years ago and Charles was great, I fear that the new generation is not. I migrated my quickbooks over to be online and although that is not what I wanted, quickbooks made it so thats really what I had to do. Phil assured me that it was time to move, it would be easy, it would be more expensive but I would need to do it, if not this year then next. So to seal the deal he said, and if you had questions or problems migrating you dont need to call quickbooks, we will take care of that, you just call us. Well that sounded worthwhile even though I dont use it a lot, waiting on hold for an hour a couple times a year is a hassle. Well i certainly understand time is money, but I didnt understand well enough. The transition was not as simple as supposed, but i thought its okay Phil has our back and will work it out. After Phil ignored two emails for a week got a bill for $195 above and beyond any agreed upon set up, after telling us to ask questions directly. Now we have a subscription and the possibity of incurring additional feesmoving forward. make sure you dont use the handshake method here, do yourself a favor and get a contract. I hate thats how things are but it is what it is.

As an ordinary tax payer I find Mr. Criser pleasant to work with and cognizant of what I need. I have had to delay sending in my IRS statement, but talking to Mr. Criser I am assured things will be okay and I am in good shape! I have used this company for probably close to 17 years and have never had a problem. The small "business" I own (a farm that is leased out) is no problem and he remembers me from year to year. Unless you have a big business I recommend this company highly.
