Cassidy and his team have been able to clean up, and advise us on future growth. With his help we have been able to focus more on growing our business. We have had no more tax surprises since we moved with him. We know how our business is going throughout the year, and how much in taxes we are expected to pay by the end of the year. Extremely Disappointing Experience with Acuity Bookkeeping and Accounting ServicesI hired Acuity to help with bookkeeping and accounting, but the results were frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of properly categorizing transactions and providing accurate reports, almost everything was labeled as "uncategorized," making the books completely unreliable.They set up several automated apps that required me to pay extra subscription fees. None of these tools integrated correctly, and they only made the situation more confusing. Rather than helping me gain financial clarity, their system created more problems and wasted both time and money.I was hoping for experienced support and clean financial records, but what I received was a disorganized mess. I would not recommend Acuity to anyone looking for dependable accounting services.

We we're in a predicament looking at cash-basis accounting to steer our decision-making at the risk of not understanding the true performance of our business. Abby is the BEST, most-knowledgable controller and so easy to communicate with regardless of your inherent accounting knowledge. Acuity has been transformational in moving our financial statements from super lumpy, cash basis to accrual. Amidst our work together, she's been willing to work through low-level transactional work with a smile as well as offering a high-level consultative look at our business, big picture. Can't recommend her enough for your ecommerce struggles!! She has made everything crystal clear and I've even developed my own skills as finance/ops director knowing her. @Acuity - do not lose this shining star!!

So I've used a ton of different accountants over the years to do my crypto bookkeeping. None of them did a good job. In fact, the accounting firm I used on the previous return made a mistake that costed me a ton in penalties. That firm was also charging me $300/hr for what was clearly outsourced help that barely understood crypto. I never realized how much more costly hiring the wrong accountant was. So most of these places will pick 1 crypto accounting software and stick to that. The issue is that if you use any new blockchains, it might take the software company a while to write the code to parse the new blockchain. So the nice part about working with Justin is he would build scripts to handle those cases. Other accountant places would do it manually and just rack up billable hours. Justin was very thorough and diligent. My dataset is pretty complex and he navigated it very well.

Let me start by saying that I have spoken to many accountants and many of them did not have the knowledge to assist me. I did some extensive research and came across Founder's CPA . Honestly, they are the gold standard when it comes to crypto taxes and preparation. I was so worried because I had a lot of transactions from different exchange platforms to the point it gave me a headache. I first had a consultation with Curt and Justin. I immediately knew they were the ones to help because they were able to answer every question and concern I had. Justin was incredible every step of the way. He was responsive to emails and questions and made me feel like an individual and not just another random client of theirs. They provide great service and their turnaround time is fast yet efficient. I can't say enough about this company. They were really accommodating and made sure that I understood everything which was a huge plus for a new crypto investor.

I don't know if communication was lost or never sent, but multiple requirements of us were never received - including the cutoff date for submitting our information - which caused us to miss filing on time and requiring an extension. When asked, we were told that information was provided, but I could not (and still can not) find that information anywhere. We didn't realize we were after the cutoff date until we reached out to ask about the status. After learning that we needed an extension, multiple dates were given for when our taxes would be filed. When dates were missed, we again had to reach out for clarification and a new timeline.
