We run a SaaS platform for PR reporting. It’s our first time working with an external development team after years of in-house. We made the shift to get more flexibility and to have dedicated capacity for building out a suite of new features on top of our product.The work is R&D by nature, so specs change, and priorities shift. Clockwise Software has always been flexible about that and scaled up when we needed more people involved. What else stood out is the team's experience. Our codebase spans multiple services with a fair amount of legacy code. They have people who've clearly worked across different codebases before, and it showed in how quickly they got productive.Our engagement is ongoing. We launched the new features, ran a beta, and opened it up to the full market. ARPC has increased since launch, a clear sign to us that the work landed well with customers.

Been really impressed with all the work Acebuddy have done for us. They've been brilliant for start to finish of our web build, and very good at aftercare, resolving issues well after they handed the site over to us.In particular their web programming services/software development services have been fantastic - they helped us with API integration for the DesignMyNight table booking tool and built out a tool which allowed us to publish alerts on our website informing customers of private event closures etc. These two changes helped create huge efficiencies, and helped us generate more revenue. I'm confident that any web challenge I came to them with they could come up with a great solution to.

I went to interview for a Delivery Manager role.Had 3 people interview me, one of which was dressed in sports outfit for the interview - I do not regard this as being professional.Second, the role advertised is not the same with the role itself. In the job description, the responsibilities were all related to Project Management, however when the interview started I was completely blindsided.They asked me to basically do the work of Sales, Product Owner, Design, Architecture and we spoke a little of Delivery as well.Only to be told later that because this is a consultancy, it's expected of you to do everything. The job does NOT pay for X5 roles with those responsibilities, but you are expected to do those tasks regardless.My advice - just write down all of these in the job advert, saves people time to decide whether it is suited for them or not.
