TAS was bought out by Extend Communications and a once awesome company is now awful. The can not follow instructions, regularly do not answer the phone. Say they call certain on call and never do. We use Extend for our Emergency After hours line. Our experience with them has been sub par at best. If there were only a couple minor issues with them it wouldn't warrant a bad review; unfortunately the slew of issues we have had with Extend is remarkable in itself. Poor Customer service, Rude to our callers, Not listening to our callers and informing our tenants that they are not with RentCorp and hanging up on them (This happens frequently) Extend is provided with updated lists and we are charged to update their lists and this issue still arises more frequently than it should. We received a bill for over $500 for a plumber that was dispatched on Victoria day when the tenant indicated during 3 separate conversations that it was not a plumbing issue and the plumber won't be able to do anything (we reviewed the recordings when the tenant indicated this was the case) after much discussion with Extend they eventually credited our account for half the bill. The list of issues goes on... We would not recommend Extend Communication. As our emergency line they are an extension of our business and leave a foul taste in the mouths of all who call them; which reflects poorly on our business.
