We are a midtown Manhattan technology startup. Our company hired PatrickOrtman, Inc. to write, produce, and direct a web commercial, and the experience was not only a success, it was a breath of fresh air. I have dealt with other video companies in the past and been disappointed. So, I admit we were very complete (read: a bit anal!) in our vetting of Mr. Ortman and his company. We could not afford failure. I was and am very impressed with what other people say about Patrick, and our own experiences. First, Patrick does not skimp on any aspect of production or post-production, and he was 100% personally involved in the project from beginning to end. We knew that this personal involvement throughout all phases of the project would serve us well, given that we had little time to devote to the project, yet a looming deadline for an international campaign that was starting in just 5 weeks! Second, Patrick is an amazingly talented writer and director, and his and his team's ability to work with us and take our ideas to the next level was very useful to us. They are a cut above (at least) the 'typical' production company, and it shows. Third, he's a really fun guy with which to work. He's got a lot of experience dealing with anxious clients and "c-level" executives and it shows. The process was flawless, and we're looking forward to working with Patrick again and again. "
