This site is excellent. I now have 345 files that span 4 generations and 120 years that are in a modern format, at no risk to the originals. The transcriptions are accurate, and they are almost unimpeachable. Although I am not familiar with GMR's retention policy, the original pdf copies are secure on their server.Simply the knowledge within the family that my late mother's legacy lives on in her own words has made a tremendous difference in the friction of lies and fairy tales those folks consider their reality.When old hand written letters are more than keepsakes, make a pdf image, upload the image to GMR, and the letters come back with the valuable information in a modern format.Thank you GMR for your patience with these old files.
