Founder Robert Joyce began his career in network engineering before advancing into the fast-paced world of trading floor technology. Working in some of the most demanding financial environments in the country, he gained firsthand experience managing mission-critical systems where reliability, security, and performance were non-negotiable.
Following the events of September 11, 2001, Robert was entrusted with helping rebuild the trading floor infrastructure for Merrill Lynchan assignment that required technical expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to deliver under extraordinary pressure. That experience helped shape the standards of excellence that continue to define Gradius IT Solutions today.
Throughout his career supporting major financial institutions, Robert recognized a recurring challenge. Large corporations had access to dedicated IT teams, advanced cybersecurity tools, and proactive technology strategies, while many small and medium-sized businesses were forced to rely on reactive support and limited resources. As a result, these organizations often struggled with downtime, security risks, and technology that failed to support their growth.
Determined to change that, Robert founded Gradius IT Solutions in Hackensack, New Jersey. His vision was clear: provide SMBs with enterprise-grade IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and strategic technology guidance at a cost that makes sense for growing businesses.
Today, Gradius serves organizations across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and throughout the United States through a network of trusted technology partners. While the company has expanded its reach, its mission remains unchangeddelivering proactive, reliable, and results-driven technology solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and securely.
