I’m writing this review out of pure frustration after experiencing one of the worst support experiences I’ve had with a tech company.I’ve been trying to verify my Kaufland seller account through IDnow using my Danish passport, and the system freezes every single time it tries to capture the photo. I’ve attempted this multiple times, across different devices and with stable internet connections – and the result is always the same: the process fails due to technical issues on IDnow’s end.Even worse, more than 5–6 of their own colleagues have acknowledged the issue and claimed to escalate it, but I’ve received no follow-up, no update, no fix. Total silence.Kaufland, who relies on IDnow for this verification process, has told me they can’t help me either, since IDnow is a third-party provider. So I’m stuck – unable to proceed with my seller account, while IDnow ignores the problem completely.I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This kind of customer service – or lack thereof – is inexcusable for a company handling sensitive verification processes.If you rely on IDnow for anything important, think twice. They are unresponsive, unreliable, and apparently not interested in fixing known technical bugs.I’m still waiting for a proper solution – but based on this experience, I’m not optimistic. "

Lousy experience.Poor agents with lousy communication skills almost being annoyed by having to provide client instructions.Amazing this business can exist in 2025. "

I tried to validate my ID because it was asked by my bank in Germany. Despite I was selecting English language, agents was connecting and telling me that they don't know good English and I should restart the process. This happened 3 times. 4th agent was very polite but finally concluded that he can't validate Greek people with new European ID and I should contact my bank. The alternative solution is to travel from Greece to Germany to make a face the face validation with bank personal. And all these in 2025...Bybthe way, at the same time, revolut without even talking to a person, validated my ID and discovered the shares I have in all my companies... "

It took four takes to get my identification done, which is not a good start.First attempt, managed by a pleasant and professional individual, failed as apparently my laptop camera wasn't of sufficient quality. I wish someone would have told me that before.Second attempt: never got connected.Third attempt: got connected to a rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional individual. Then the connection timed out. I am somewhat grateful for that.Fourth attempt: got through to someone who could probably get a job as a tired border guard, but at least he got things done efficiently. "

The worse verification process ever, avoid at all costs. After waiting 20+ minutes in the queue and going through half of the verification process with an agent, I was left on-hold without a good bye with a message telling me to wait until they proceed to next step. After 30 min I tried to cancel and it didn't even work. I had to kill the app and I don't know if my verification went through or not as it fails when I try again now... "
