Was recommended Nexa for an after-hours answering service and things seemed fine until they weren’t. One of my colleagues noticed we hadn’t received a call summary in a while, and we eventually found out they hadn’t taken a single call in over TWO months. When I called to ask why calls weren’t being forwarded, and why we were never notified, I was told they “have too many customers to keep an eye on each one.” Despite this, we were billed every month, even though they didn’t answer one call. I was told a supervisor would follow up. No one ever did. Our IT team confirmed multiple times that it wasn't an issue on our end but that was what Nexa claimed it to be. After sending two additional emails with no response, I finally emailed to cancel. Only then did I hear back, receiving a cancellation form and a generic “sorry to see you go.” Don’t waste your time. NEXA recently changed their platform blocking clients from entering specific times outside of a set schedule. Clients must submit an email of changes, wait for a response, send a reminder email and then find out at 3am that changes were not made correctly. I have now been awake since 3 am (unable to go back to sleep and no opportunity to nap during the day) because NEXA ceased client control of our own schedules and someone failed to do their job properly.when I requested a variation from their blocked times.
