Scammers. Received direct outbound cold call from a number which was unknown to me. I rang back- they were claiming to be from eon next, wouldn't answer why they were calling. I hung up and rang eon. Jeez, this number listed as from Isle of Arran keeps phoning me and I've traced the number back to this company. The ones phoning me are a bit hazy about where they're phoning from and what they want but I managed to hear something about checking my electricity meter. Quite happily supports scam and cold callers. You report them to them and they supposedly add your number to their 'Network Level DNC' list, but the companies obviously take no notice of that as they keep coming.
