As a teenager, I was obsessed with magazines and dreamed about writing for one. At 17, my dream came true. Although the magazine had a brief run, I was able to accomplish many of the things I had only imagined - including moving to London, working with renowned British photographer Rankin, and working at one of my favourite publications, Dazed and Confused.

I was accepted into the London College of Communication to study Journalism. While there, my interest in writing took a backseat to learning about layout design and video production. I also discovered a love for cabaret and began working part-time for a burlesque costume and boudoir accessories brand. Whilst supporting their marketing communications and sales, I also had the opportunity to work alongside some of London's most talented performers at the prestigious Café de Paris every weekend.

In an unexpected turn of events, I moved to the Oxfordshire countryside and landed a role as a Communications Officer at one of Oxford's oldest women's colleges. Here I culminated all the practical work experience I had gathered over the years and sharpened my communications skills in every sense: producing magazines, writing news articles, photography, and videography.
