Hiring practices are questionable. I had applied in April to a role and they gave me an assignment to complete for 3 hours on a Sunday. Turns out I found out a friend of mine also was interviewed for a different position but also given a similar 3 hour assignment. Makes me think they are using interviews to get free work done. After our assignments we were both told we'd hear back in a couple of weeks which is obviously code for we didn't get the job. If you are looking for free work please use Chatgpt or Gemini and don't waste people's time asking for free work.
