- Project Brief: Design a mobile app that enhances social connection through moments, moods, and real-time, proximity-based discovery with immersive interactions.
An Android and iOS app design justifies its existence when it changes how people relate to the space around them. Orbix Studio builds Momento around a different premise than most social platforms: shared moods and physical proximity matter more than follower counts and feeds that reward performance over presence.
Story-driven interactions push the experience forward without the overhead of traditional social navigation. Inter Display typography keeps everything legible in dark-mode environments where most social apps trade readability for atmosphere and lose both.
High-contrast UI elements and proximity-based features make spontaneous discovery the default rather than the exception. The design treats an unplanned encounter as the whole point, which changes what the app feels like to open.
Momento works best when you're already somewhere worth being. Orbix Studio builds around that by making mood and location the first things the platform asks about, not the last.
